A compression driver is a small type of diaphragm loudspeaker, which generates the sound attaching the horn loudspeaker. It is attached to an acoustic horn, a wide duct is connected which radiate sound to make the efficient and spread in wide area.

Compression driver mainly are used in high end audio installations such as DJ sounds, Club Sounds etc. but now very common in professional audio installations lie home theaters

Compression driver plays a very vital and important role in today’s modern professional as well as high-end audio installations without them the high-end sound quality cannot be achieved.

Compression drivers comes in two version magnets One is ring magnets and other is a neodymium magnet. Ring magnet drivers are mainly used in floor sound application like speaker Colum and tower where as neodymium Drivers are mainly used in high end line ray systems. Due to their property of light weight and high power they are in line ray systems.
